About the Role…
Reporting to the Executive Officer, you will join our team as an Executive Support Assistant, where you will provide administrative support to the Chief Executive and Executive team across complex and sensitive matters.
Key Accountabilities…
- Provide administrative support, ensuring confidentiality in handling critical and sensitive matters.
- Support the effective management of the Chief Executive’s calendar appointments, correspondence, and coordinate travel arrangements.
- Undertake a range of administrative tasks including records management, procuring goods and services and reconciliation of expenses (including P card/ organisation credit card) to support operational efficiency.
- Draft and prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations and briefing notes to support the effective operation of the Executive Office.
- Gather, collate and provide background information for the Chief Executive to support informed decision making and planning.
- Assist in the coordination and planning of a range of events, including VIP and Taronga events.
- Support the Divisional Director of People, Culture & Safety as required.
About You…
This role is well suited to an executive support officer, who prides themselves on precision and building lasting relationships with people. You’ll also bring:
- Experience providing executive-level administrative services.
- Experience working collaboratively with others and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Impeccable communication skills, being clear, accurate and concise.
- Well-developed computer skills including accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to be self-motivated with good time management skills.
- Hold a current NSW Driver’s License.
You will be based onsite at Taronga Zoo, Mosman, with the potential for working remotely one day per week. Some out of hours work and travel to Taronga Western Plains Zoo (Dubbo) may be required.
