Role:  Finance Officer - Revenue, Taronga Zoo

Taronga Zoo is looking for an experienced and motivated Finance Officer – Revenue to join our Finance team!

• Located at Sydney’s Iconic Taronga Zoo, Cammeraigal Country
• Ongoing, Part Time position – 4 days per week, 0.8 FTE
• TCSA Salaried Employees Award, Clerk Grade 2, annual package $90,819 pro rata (includes base salary $80,129 pro rata + 12% superannuation)

About the Role…

To ensure the accurate and timely collection and recording of revenue by managing Accounts Receivable processes, maintaining debtor records, and supporting the integrity of financial information.

Key Accountabilities…

• Manage preparation and coordination of customer invoicing ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
• Distribution of debtor statements and follow up on all outstanding customer payments resolving any issues in a timely manner.
• Proactively reviewing and processing refunds to customers using multiple revenue systems.
• Manage the AR mailbox by organising emails and ensuring timely and accurate responses to maintain a high level of customer service.
• Contribute to a safe, compliant, and customer-focused work environment by adhering to organisational policies, including customer service and workplace health and safety standards.
• Support organisational sustainability objectives by complying with and promoting environmentally responsible work practices.

About You…

We are looking for candidates that have:

• Experience in using revenue/point-of-sale and accounting systems.
• Qualification in accounting or finance discipline or equivalent combination of knowledge skills and experience
