Taronga Zoo’s Wildlife Retreat team is currently seeking a casual Front Desk Officer, to join the team!

 

  • Casual position
  • Casual loading rate GEO: $32.59 per hour Mon to Fri (evening, weekend and public holiday additional penalties apply where applicable)

About the Role…
This casual position will involve you being the front face for Taronga’s guests visiting the Wildlife Retreat.

You’ll be involved in the daily operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role is highly visible and present, providing a personal hosting style of service to guests.

 

Your shifts will be across a 7 day roster, so having availability to work Monday to Sunday shifts is advantageous.

Shifts times can include:
- 8am - 4pm
- 9am - 5pm
- 1pm - 9pm

 

We are looking for candidates that have:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service in a Tourism or Hospitality setting.
  • Available to work varying hours, including AM/ PM and weekends when required
  • Sensitivity to, and understanding of, the cultural needs of Indigenous people.
  • Prior experience working with Opera PMS an advantage
  • NSW paid working with children check (NSW WWCC) at own expense
