Taronga Foundation is looking for an experienced and motivated Gifts in Wills manager to join our Sydney team!

About the Role…
The primary role of the Gifts in Wills Manager is to drive the 3 year strategy to acquire, nurture individuals to leave a gift in their will, develop, implement integrated strategies designed to increase conversion of Gifts in Wills to Taronga , increase the donor pipeline to secure future revenue growth through gifts in Wills, and steward the relationship with existing confirmed bequestors.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role which requires an understanding, bequest fundraising and relationship building, using different channels of communication.
Key Accountabilities…
- Supported by Fundraising manager and team, implement the donor bequest strategy, which includes multi channels of communication and engagement, and results in a growing volume of donors pledging to remember Taronga in their Wills as well as the development of donor stewardship communication
- Serve as the key point of contact for bequestors and enquiries, develop relationships to secure future gifts, and nurture existing relationships for greater loyalty.
- Drive a structured database driven approach to profile, quality and nurture new leads, cultivate and steward prospects and nurture existing bequestors.
- Effectively manage suppliers for estate administration and free online will platform
- Report on and forecast bequest pipeline growth and income.
- Monitor trends and best practice in legacy fundraising to inspire the growth of the Taronga bequest program.
- Work closely with the CEO and other Senior members of the Taronga team to secure gifts and steward donors.
- Coordinate stewardship recognition program thanking supporters for their gifts and retaining engagement once bequest is made.
- Act as the first point of contact for bequest enquiries, conducting calls, letters and other activities with a focus on converting supporters from inquiring to confirmed gifts.
About You…
We are looking for candidates that have:
- Experience in fundraising or marketing, ideally in a similar role.
- Hold a current NSW Drivers License or ability to have existing license formally recognised, including manual.
