This role is active, varied and guest-facing. You may work across different locations during a shift, manage large crowds and queues, respond to guest concerns, learn multiple systems and adapt when operational priorities change. Workloads vary according to season, day and location: some shifts and periods are extremely busy, while others may be quieter or involve more routine and repetitive tasks. Much of the work is outdoors and involves extended periods of standing and walking, including during weekends, public holidays and school holiday periods.

  1. Having read the above, which aspect will be most challenging for you and how would you manage it?
  2. Describe a time you had to deal with an upset customer, customer equivalent, or stakeholder. What was the situation and what did you do?
