- TCSA Employees Award, Clerk Grade 6, Annual Base Salary ranging from $104,011 to $107,058.64 + 11.5% Superannuation + annual leave loading
Taronga Zoo Sydney is looking for an experienced and motivated Partnerships Acquisition Manager to join our Corporate Partnerships team, beginning in 2025!
Based at the Zoo, in the zoo grounds, you’ll be joining a team of vivacious and driven individuals who truly love what they do.
About the Role…
This role is responsible for the senior account management of numerous high profile corporate partners ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes as well as a key focus on new business development of corporate partners including identifying, securing and fostering novel opportunities. The role is a key contributor to the team cash and in-kind income stream.
Key Accountabilities…
- Establish effective and robust internal and external relationships in order to support, service and leverage current corporate sponsors and ensure the delivery of mutually beneficial partnerships contributing to the overall financial growth of Taronga Foundation
- Manage a dynamic portfolio of corporate accounts and sponsors ensuring the achievement of agreed service levels for partners
- Work effectively as a member of a high performing team to assist Taronga in its achievement of strategic outcomes
- Identify and research potential corporate partners, create and deliver sponsorship presentations, negotiate long term, multiyear agreements with a new business target to support the Corporate Partnership revenue
- Contract review and execution of new business and renewals
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify innovative and creative opportunities for new and existing corporate partner proposals
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns for corporate partners in conjunction with Taronga’s marketing and commercial services team
- Manage and report on new business pipeline and identify industry trends with the ability to recognise market opportunities
- Communicate Taronga’s education and conservation messages both internally and externally, ensuring all communications align with Taronga’s values to inspire change in accordance with Taronga’s vision and strategic pillars.
About You…
We are looking for candidates that have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a marketing business discipline or equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated experience in sponsorship management including sales - creating new business opportunities resulting in significant support via sponsorships by developing, negotiating and closing the agreement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to confidently deliver presentations
- Project Management and organisation skills and experience
- Obtain and maintain a current paid NSW Working with Children Check at own expense.
