- TCSA Salaried Employees Award, Clerk Grade 5/6, annual package starting from $113,271 (includes base salary $99,938 + plus superannuation & leave loading)
Taronga Zoo Sydney is looking for an experienced and motivated Product Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing, Comms and Fundraising team!
About the Role…
As the Product Marketing Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering creative and impactful marketing initiatives across Taranga’s diverse product portfolio. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing campaigns and promotional activities to support Education programs, while also maintaining multi-channel campaigns and assets that drive General Admission across both Zoos.
Key Accountabilities…
Taronga Education Portfolio
- Lead, develop and execute annual marketing plans to grow school excursion visitation across both Taronga Zoo Sydney and Taronga Western Plains Zoo and deliver Education revenue.
- Lead, develop and implement marketing strategies to generate leads and drive enrolments for Taronga’s tertiary education programs, including Certificate courses, short courses and professional training offerings.
- Provide tactical marketing support to the Education team to promote the broader education product portfolio, education events and teacher membership program.
- Create engaging content, collateral and communications journeys that guide prospective students and educator audiences through the awareness, consideration and enrolment or visitation funnel.
- Identify and leverage opportunities for cross-promotion, strategic content partnerships and stakeholder engagement with schools, teachers, parents and education providers to build awareness and preference for Taronga’s education offerings.
- Monitor campaign performance and ensure timely and thorough post-campaign analysis, working in partnership with internal teams to optimise future marketing activity.
- Conduct regular research to understand market trends, competitive activity and audience insights
- Manage all relevant advertising and promotional Education budgets to ensure activities align with approved funds.
- Manage and evolve the Teacher Membership program
Marketing Assets and Content Creation
- Develop and maintain compelling, full-funnel, multi-channel marketing assets to support General Admission Marketing plan and financial targets across both Taronga Zoo Sydney and Taronga Western Plains Zoo - including paid media, owned assets (emails, newsletters, website, local promotional marketing)
- Advise and support product managers on marketing asset best practice - fit for funnel;, channel and audience.
- Manage major content shoots across the portfolio of Taronga products
About You…
We are looking for candidates that have:
- Previous experience in developing and implementing multi-channel campaigns across a variety of digital mediums - right message, right channel, right audience.
- Experience in developing and executing targeted customer journeys to acquire leads and convert into sales
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Content creation and copywriting experience is favourable
- Understanding of CRM and digital platforms to deliver seamless customer journeys
- Obtain and maintain a current volunteer NSW Working with Children Check at own expense.
