Taronga Conservation Society Australia is looking for an experienced and motivated Regular Giving Coordinator to join our fundraising team on the Foundation! This unique opportunity will lead you to work in a leading organisation in conservation of wildlife!

About the Role…

Responsible for supporting the implementation of Taronga’s regular giving programs, as an integral part of the Fundraising team to deliver income for the Taronga with the goal delivering over $30M over the next 5 years.

 

Key Accountabilities…

  • Support end to end execution of acquisition activities including  lead generation telemarketing activities to acquire new regular givers and zoo parents (adoption program).
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the supporter journey and maximise the retention of new and existing supporters such as  Zoo Parents and Regular Givers with the objective of increasing their lifetime values to Taronga. 
  • Effectively manage telemarketing, digital and fundraising agencies  and suppliers to ensure acquisition targets are met and communication for campaigns is supplied in a timely manner.
  • Work with the Fundraising Manager to manage the associated expenses with the above areas.
  • Supported by Fundraising manager, develop post campaign reports for timely analysis.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support

 

About You…

We are looking for candidates that have:

  • Experience in regular giving, fundraising, telemarketing or marketing ideally in a similar role
  • Proven experience in achieving revenue targets, preferably in the fundraising area, on time, within budget and within brand guidelines
  • High levels of self-management, including effective time and project management
  • A proven problem solver and self-starter with a positive attitude and a committed team player
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate a high level in both written and oral form, and the ability to communicate, sensitively to people of all ages, financial and social backgrounds
  • Ability to manage and inspire the people and projects you manage
  • A volunteer Working With Children Check
